Arkive Media Co. had the privilege to catch up with X, a dancer with a winning streak, at the Red Bull Dance Your Style Tampa.
Having won last year and aiming for more victories, X expressed his competitive spirit. “I still have to prove myself over and over again,” he said. “I’m addicted to it. I’m built like that. I was born like this, and that’s what I’m going to keep doing.”
For X, dance is more than competition—it’s a form of expression rooted in real-life experiences. “Everything you see me do, I’m pulling it from my real life,” he shared. “It’s my love for the art, the people, the community, and the sport.”
With this win, he secures a spot in the upcoming Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final, set to take place in Atlanta on May 18.
